How it all started...
Pastor Jeff was ordained as an assistant pastor at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel in Colorado Springs in 1992.
Soon after, God stirred Pastor Jeff to start a Bible teaching Calvary Chapel in Northern Colorado. In January of 1996, the Lord led him and his family to Greeley. He came with a Bible, a stool, a cheap guitar, and began a Bible study in their home. A short time later, Calvary Chapel Greeley had its first Sunday morning service in downtown Greeley. Since then, they moved to their current location with multiple weekend services.
Pastor Jeff has been faithful to teach the "whole counsel of God's Word" to his fellowship by teaching chapter by chapter and verse by verse through the entire Bible. He has a radio program, "Under the Fig Tree" and has been a Chaplain for the Weld County Sheriff's Office since 2002.
Pastor Jeff has been married to his wife Sue for over thirty years and has four adult children and three beautiful grandchildren.
